Dr. Yuan Wang          

President of Nanjing Nanotech Institute


Dr. Wang had worked at the University of California, Berkeley as a senior research scientist with Principal Investigator (PI) status, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) as a researcher, and the Nano-scale Science and Engineering Centers (NSEC) Center for Scalable and Integrated Nanomanufacturing (SINAM) as the Center Manager for multiple years. Dr. Wang's research focuses on nanooptics and optoelectronics, especially on the design and characterization of metamaterials and 2D materials and their applications for nanophotonics. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley. Before that, he received his B.S. and M.S. from Nanjing University, China.
